Quick answer
AI tools quote content that answers a question directly, states facts clearly and is easy to lift into a summary. Start each section with a short answer, use headings that match real questions, include specific numbers and examples, define terms in one sentence, and keep facts consistent across your website.
Key takeaways
- Lead every section with a one or two sentence answer
- One idea per paragraph makes text easy to quote
- Specific numbers and names beat general claims
- Definitions and FAQs are favourite sources for AI
AI search tools read your page, pick the clearest bits and fold them into an answer. Here is how to write so your content is the bit they pick.
1. Answer first, then explain
Start each page and section with the answer in one or two sentences. Then give detail.
Weak: “In today’s fast-changing digital world, many brands wonder about pricing…”
Strong: “Social media management in India usually depends on the number of reels, posts and shoot days each month, plus ad spend.”
2. Use question headings
Write headings the way people ask: “How much does a strategy call cost?”, “What is UGC content?”. AI tools match questions to headings.
3. Define terms in one sentence
“Cost per lead is total ad spend divided by the number of leads.” Short definitions are very easy to quote. Our project pages include a terms section for this reason.
4. Be specific
| Vague | Specific |
|---|---|
| We grew their page a lot | Follower growth of 75% and 350+ trial bookings via Instagram |
| Many students joined | 9,000 students registered, 60% attended live |
| We cover the region | Campaigns in 150+ cities and 73+ campuses |
The examples on the right come from our own Inertia and Camlin projects.
5. Use lists and tables
Steps, comparisons and checklists are easy for AI to summarise accurately.
6. Add FAQs
Short, direct answers to common questions, marked up with FAQ schema.
7. Keep facts consistent
If your About page says 2020 and your LinkedIn says 2019, AI tools get confused. Keep your name, founding year, services, address and numbers the same everywhere.
8. Show who is speaking
Name the author and their experience. See E-E-A-T explained.
9. Update regularly
Add the updated date and keep prices and facts current. Our guide on refreshing old posts shows how.
